Kenna grew up on a cattle ranch outside of LaGrange, Wyoming. After graduating high school, she came to Laramie in 2017 to attend the University of Wyoming. Kenna received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2023, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Wyoming College of Business in 2020. During her undergraduate degree, Kenna served as the President of the UW Ethics Club which runs SparkTank, one of UW's student-led philanthropic efforts.
During law school, Kenna was the Student Director for the Civil Legal Services Clinic. Kenna joined Nicholas & Tangeman as an Associate Attorney in 2023. Kenna helps clients with property, water and natural resources, and business planning matters. She is passionate about developing areas of law such as blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies. She is admitted to practice in Wyoming and before the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.
When she's not in the office, you can find Kenna mountain biking at Happy Jack, camping in the Snowy Range, or hiking in the Medicine Bow National Forest with her husband Michael and their two corgis, Wynston and Daphne. Kenna enjoys wildlife, river, and mountain landscape photography. She also loves attending Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball games, going to art museums, and finding great restaurants wherever she goes.
