Kyle D. Barrett was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Kyle attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he received his B.A. in Philosophy and minor degrees in both English and Spanish in 2018. Kyle thereafter moved to Laramie where he attended the University of Wyoming College of Law. During law school, Kyle clerked for Chief Judge Scott W. Skavdahl of the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming in Casper, as well as for the First Judicial District Attorney's Office in Cheyenne. He graduated from the College of Law in 2021.

Kyle's practice area focuses on estate, gift, and business entity taxation; business and estate planning; probate; and estate and trust administration.

In his free time, Kyle loves to read, study languages, and explore Wyoming while hiking, hunting, or snowmobiling.
